Grow Our Economy

  • Expand the tax base with programs and grants to support retail, small businesses, entrepreneurs, professionals and the arts

  • Update local zoning to correspond to the adopted Village plan and eliminate spot zoning

  • Reduce Planning Board administrative fees charged to applicants to be in line with the essential and necessary costs

  • Amend the administrative local law so there will be seven members on the Planning Board thus providing a swing vote and avoiding deadlocks

Strengthen Local Government

  • Bring a fresh vision and civil voice to the Village Board

  • Reinstate the Intermunicipal Agreement with the Town

  • Stop playing political games with the sales tax share and return the Town’s allotment. This will directly benefit residents by ending the false manipulation of both governments budgets

  • Improve communication with Village residents

  • Work with local, state and federal partners to bring more funding to the Village

  • Install a sign identifying Village Hall so people can find it

  • Hold regular business hours and make Village Hall accessible and inviting for residents who need to conduct business

  • Require the Mayor to inform all Trustees about Village business and end the need for Trustees to foil information to prepare for meetings
